Alot of time, effort, hours, layers & mediums went into these works of art!! This piece is composed of one 20 x 24 inch, stretched canvas. The sides are painted and it comes with a wire in the back, so ready to hang, no frame necessary. Hopefully you will notice in the detail pictures that this work has many layers & textures. I took many photos of this to try to capture the look of the canvas.. on the photo with the flash, you will see that many areas are covered with a very shinny thick gel which gives the illusion of wettness. Other areas are covered with a cracking grout, giving the illusion of an old cavern which has suffered the effects of age and oxidation. This piece was the focal point of my living room, a very modern and intriguing piece. Much more beautiful in person! Can be hung either vertically or horizontally.
